Due to the Global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic Governor Whitmer of the State of Michigan has issued several Executive Orders.  Many of the Executive Orders directly impact Atlas Township Office operations as well as our residents and businesses throughout our community.

Our office staff is working hard to ensure all township business can proceed without delay. Staff is available to answer phones during regular business hours.  There is a secure drop box behind the building and arrangements can be made for any necessary in-person appointments.

A full list of Governor Whitmer's Executive Orders can be viewed here.

Emterra Trash and Recycling Notice:
Please do not put out more than normal household waste and recycling.  I realize many people have time on your hands and are cleaning their homes, but the waste hauling company can not deal with the high volumes of trash that is at the curb.  Last week was over three times the normal volume. While Emterra has kept with normal services , the other companies have not. If you have done cleaning around your house, please hold that waste until this pandemic is over.  We at Emterra are doing our best to service your community , while doing what is best for our workers as well.
